About this program
Green Bangladesh runs tree plantation drives with schools, mosques and local volunteers. We plant fruit, timber and medicinal trees suited to each area and record where every sapling goes so it can be cared for.

What we provide
Plantation drives
Community drives along roads, school grounds, embankments and homesteads.
Free saplings
Fruit and native saplings given to households who promise to care for them.
Recorded locations
Each planting site is logged so volunteers can return and replace saplings that do not survive.
Who can receive support
- Schools, madrasas and mosques with space to plant.
- Households willing to look after saplings at home.
- Anyone who wants to join a drive as a volunteer.
How it works
- 1 We pick sites and species with local communities before each season.
- 2 Volunteers plant together on drive day, usually during the monsoon.
- 3 Sites are revisited, and lost saplings are replaced.
