Applying for aid

Families in Bangladesh who need help to become self-reliant (Shabolombi), to keep a child in education, or to pay for medical treatment. Each program page lists who is eligible.

Programs & the Tuhur app

Shabolombi means “self-reliant”. It gives families a productive asset such as a rickshaw, sewing machine, livestock or shop stock so they can earn a steady income instead of relying on aid.

Tuhur is our free, ad-free Islamic companion app with accurate prayer times, a verified mosque finder and Qur’an resources. You sign in with your Lagbe Foundation account.

Our office is in Rajshahi and our field teams work across several districts, including Rajshahi, Kurigram, Sylhet and Khulna. We go where verified need is greatest.
